Within Alphabet Training, we create and retain an Individual Learner Record (ILR), every learner account contains information that allows us to provide a personalised learning environment for each learner and meaningful reports on their activity and progress. This data is also used for processing funding claims in order to support your learning.

GDPR Policy

The law requires compliance with the principles of the Data Protection Act 2018 (the DPA) and the GDPR. This policy sets out how Alphabet Training deals with employees’ personal data and employees’ obligations in relation to any personal data that they may handle.

Carbon Reduction Policy & Plans

Modern Slavery Statement

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes various forms, such as slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour and human trafficking, all of which have in common the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another to exploit them for personal or commercial gain. We are committed to improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking.

Prevent Policy

The Counter Terrorism and Security Act 2015 has introduced the Prevent Duty for various bodies including all FE colleges, adult education providers and independent learning providers with SFA funding or with over 300 students enrolled.

Safeguarding Policy

Alphabet Training is committed to providing an organisation and learning environment free from harassment, abuse, violence, bullying or any other form of anti-social behaviour for both Children (16 to 18) and Adults.

Complaints Procedure

Alphabet Training is committed to providing a professional, efficient, courteous and helpful training environment to all our clients. However, in the instance you feel like things have gone wrong and you are dissatisfied with our service, we would like you to submit a complaint to let us know. We can then resolve your complaint and ensure it does not happen again.

Information, Advice and Guidance

The purpose of the policy is to set out the Information, Advice and Guidance services that Alphabet Training commits to provide to potential and current learners, parents of learners under the age of 18, staff and employers.

Whistleblowing Policy

This Whistleblowing Policy encourages and enables individuals to make a “protected disclosure” to raise serious concerns to the training provider in the public interest in line with the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998.
