Questions for Apprentices

1) Why did you choose an apprenticeship?

I chose an apprenticeship because I already had an idea of which career path I wanted to take; this was accessible through the level 3 apprenticeship route. I wanted to be earning money, an academic qualification and gain on the job experience.

2) What’s the best thing about being an apprentice?

The best thing about being an apprentice is being able to learn and earn, simultaneously. For me, this was a better choice than studying for multiple college A-levels and trying to find a part time job. I feel as if I am on the fast track to the career in digital marketing that I had dreamed of.

3) What are the pros of being an apprentice?

The pro’s of being an apprentice are:

• Gaining experience
• Being in the career of your choice
• Learning new skills
• Earning money
• Staying ahead of graduates
• Higher probability of employment
